Welcome to QuickBill ("we," "our," or "us"). QuickBill is a mobile invoicing application available on iOS, operated by JHobbie. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using QuickBill, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
  • Business Information: Business name, owner name, email address, phone number, website URL, and business address that you enter in your profile settings.
  • Client Information: Names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses of your clients that you add to the app.
  • Financial Information: Invoice details, estimate details, expense records, line item descriptions, amounts, and payment status that you create within the app.
  • Media: Business logos and expense receipt photos that you upload.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage Data: App interaction data, feature usage patterns, and crash reports.
  • Subscription Information: Subscription status, plan type, and billing events managed through Apple App Store and RevenueCat.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the QuickBill application
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
  • Generate invoices, estimates, and PDF documents on your behalf
  • Store and organize your business, client, and expense data
  • Process and manage your subscription through the App Store
  • Send invoice and payment reminders (when enabled by you)
  • Improve, personalize, and optimize the app experience
  • Diagnose technical issues, debug errors, and maintain security
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides PostgreSQL database hosting with enterprise-grade security measures. Uploaded files (logos and receipt photos) are stored in Supabase Storage.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Sign in with Apple, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

QuickBill uses the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising services or share your data with advertisers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Your invoices, estimates, client records, and expense data are retained until you delete them or delete your account. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed through a cascading deletion process.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data by editing your profile in the app.
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data directly within the app settings.
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy

QuickBill is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
